<p>In 2005, a little dolphin named Winter lost her tail after a nearly-fatal encounter with a crab trap. In 2006, Kevin Carroll, vice president of prosthetics at Hanger and an expert prosthetist heard her story and took steps to restore her mobility with an artificial tail.</p>
